so once home i realized that it wouldnt fit any of my existing sytems. talk about crappy.but after a long period of pondering i grabbed my tape measure and ran upstairs to my room.and there in the window measured a perfect little area fro my new skimmer fuge.i would attach it to my 33 headboard tank.

gotta cut some wood...then i gotta place some screws.you know the drill. Laughing i am just building a basic frame inside the window frame and cutting some notches in it to acomidate the refugium.

fixed this part of the plumbing but now i have run into another snag.at least this one came out pretty good for a rubberband O-ring and some silicone to make a diameter of pipe that i couldnt aquire.

and here is a picture of the skimmer pump.its like a triple air intake needle wheel.

i have also definatly decided to go with adding a seperate drain area for the return and instead of doing a baffle or what not i am trying to add a cheesy 3-4 gallon acrylic tank before it drains from the window fuge to the 33 head board tank.just for fun.

ghetto plumbing again.here is the hangon refugium overflowing into the acrylic tank add on.

and here it is returning to the 33 long headboard tank.

the tubes you see are going to a needle wheel venturi pump for the skimmer.

nice, my bicolor blenny lives along side my powerhead, but has been digging along the bottom and spending more and more time among the rocks, so i may change out the powerhead and force him to the bottom as he doesnt do anything hiding next to the powerhead, but when roaming the bottom he gets in all kinds of stuff, much more entertaining... i dont know.

thats funny, yet aggravating.
i turned off my zoo med to make room for a fliter on another project and i was lazy so i left it inside the tank, not my bicolor is living inside the outlet, like a little cave, lol...

so here i put in a piece of egg crate that has aquired a few aptasia anemones on it.i would just toss it out on the porch to dry up but there is a mushroom i want on it so i tossed it in the window fuge wich now has a few peppermints in it and man they work fast.these anemones were larger than a quarter befoe i put em in and by the time i got my camera this is what they did.
