| So i was presented with a flow problem in a friends tank.some dead spots were accuring and the tank was a little to long for the existing power head to get to the other tank corners.getting another power head is currently not an option so we needed alternatives.CHEAP alternatives.so i dug around in my PVC and plumbing pieces and away we went. | first we cut some pieces of flex tube to even get a male end to attach something to the output.[img] [/img] then we attached a nipple to a half inch PVC adapter to attach to more PVC. [img] [/img] | |

| after a few cuts of apropriately mesured pipe, a T fitting with a ball valve attached to regulate flow, and the elbow with the extended pipe for flow on the far bottom end of the tank. [img] [/img] and here is that little pump running on this cheap manifold.many aplication for a verticle model and still usable with the adapter when a larger pump is aquired. [img] [/img] | |
