Busted bulb Empty
PostSubject: Busted bulb   Busted bulb EmptyMon Mar 05, 2012 2:15 pm

upon doing some cleanup on a couple tanks it appears that one of my bulbshas had some stress and craked.just enough so that it didnt rupture but was so close it wasnt even funny.it was amazing that the thing even still functioned.after taking it out it had a slight tap and that finished its life span.
KABOOM...well almost.

Haha i was at a customers house once and they wanted me to look at their tank to diagnose some issues. Low and behold they had a bulb running that looked like that. No shield what so ever just exposed element. Crazy it still worked
