| A good way alot of people do it is they put larger pieces of crushed coral gravel in a Tupperware in the tank and put the clippings in with the gavel so it can attach itself. | |

| yeah thats kind of what i was thinking, just have been paranoid of doing it, and have limited coral as of yet, but that sounds very doable... | |

| dont forget that some mushrooms are more tempramental than others and as a general rule you want to get some of the mouth in the cutting as this will help ensure a better survival rate..you can just take good sized pieces of the shrooms disc and grow out more from that..when doing this i recomend doing it in a tuperware with tanks water as to prevent excess mucus from contaminating the main tank..if it has alot of mucus in the tuperware put the tuperware in a bucket and gently put more tank water over the fresh frags to help rinse them prior to putting them into a low flow and lower light area. | |

| [img] [/img] Look at this shaggy mushroom, taken with the flash on you can see the odd ball markings underneath the "tentacles" almost like a watermelon striated from the center. | |
