| Man those are some pretty nice prices there. I will see about grabbing some of those T-5 HO bulbs and for that price i will grab two.I like how they have a link right to the bulb spectrum, that is cool. What does anybody think about the 14,000 kelvin bulbs versus the 10,000? I want to add some more color to my tank but not add more bulbs. | |

| you could do the 14000 and get a real blue look with your actinics or you could just try and grab a 460 nanometer bulb instead of the 420standard actinic.they may be hard to find so it might just make more sense to grab the 14000 kelvin.i must say that 10,000 in my experience has the best growth but as far as looks i suppose i would do the 14000. | |

| I could be wrong but i remember hearing you get more out of what i call "true color" bulbs vs "combo color" bulbs. For example, if i had a dual t5 fixture. I would rather run a 10k and actinic bulb vs two 50/50 bulbs. I just think you get more out of them, but it does suck when one goes out. One bulb fixtures are where 50/50 come in handy. | |
