Was at the animal house and a customer came in with a couple itiems from his reef tank that he didnt want to crash his little party and one of those things was a shame face crab.he is about 3 inches long and loks pretty sweet.he will be going in my sump until i get a invert sytem up for the not so reef safe. [img][/img] youcan kinda see the anemone he has atached to his back. [img][/img] here is a shot of its underside.crazy cool.

Scary. I'm not a fan of crabs. Not in my tanks anyway, and I just don't think I could have a "crab-only tank".
I should say, I'm not a fan of those big "Cancer" type crabs. Hermits can be OK. Pom-poms too, you know the kind.
this guy IS an oddball for me but i have a soft spot for the inverts and am in the process of relocating some of my tank inhabitants so now is a good time for me to snag this guy.i will certainly be feeding him some snails as that is a prefered food from my reading and hope i can snap some shots of that for fun.this guy would be a nuisance to most peoples tanks but i think i might be able to find him a permanent home.

from what i have read 12 centimeters so not too large but too big for some tanks.i honestly have never seen one larger than this one but then again i dont see them often.
