Drift Wood

I'm looking for a seasoned piece of drift wood to put in my freshwater tank. In an ideal world, I'd like to find a piece 3 or so inches around, 8-12 inches along. Is anyone willing to part with a chunk or could someone advise where I could find one? I'm not totally set on those dimensions, that's just what would fit easily in the aquarium. Thanks!

your in luck my man as i have tons of already cured wood that i can cut for you if you need a certain demention.i have alot of grape an iron wood.some others that are pretty cool as well.i know they are all fish safe as i have been collecting them for sometime and store them with my daphnia culture.they are pretty sensitive creatures and are doing fine.let me know and we can work something out.

Great. I'm looking for a small piece or two that will fit nicely in a 10 gal aquarium without taking up too much volume. I can fit a couple pieces along the back wall of the tank. I guess that means it can be fairly long and skinny, it just needs to be on the flatter side. The goal is to keep pH down below 7.8 which is what comes out of the tap. I'm good with any variety of wood, whatever has the most tannins (& other anti-pH goodness) in it would be best. If they look cool, that's a bonus. Do you have anything in the 3-4x10 inch size range? Thanks!

Has it already been cured?

this stuff is cured...its been in water for months to years depending on the piece.its kept in my daphnia culture stock pond so i know its all good.
