I have always been a fan of the various anubius plant formations and have began to start snaging a few more specimens.here is a barteri that i am thinking is not getting enough nutrients as you can see the yellow forming in the leaf tissue.

i am going to blast this tank with some good old flourish and possibly some excell just to cover my bases.was wondering on other opinions though Rolling Eyes

since it seems everyone agrees Rolling Eyes i am dosing the tank with flourish and am already seeing results.i suppose this was an obvious fix for most yellowing situations but i was hoping there was some not so conventional alternative like maybe add more fish or something.

Did everything turn out in the end?I have seen my anubius turn a similar shade but I usually don't worry about it,just wait till a water change and things right themselves. What are your water perameters?Maybe your plants are out competing each other for nutrients.

well things are all good now with the anubius and I am actualy in the process of breaking the tank, that had this particular specimen in, down.Kind of consolodate things for a while as I am temporarily unable to attend my tanks for a while.I do think you were on the money though.I stuff my tanks with plants and just let things ride until I see a problem, unlike some of my reef tanks were I dose consistantly as to avoid any depletion of elements.hmmm maybe I should start some more fresh water dosing.

Or you could try using a good nutrient rich substrate.
