| This is a sweet little tank i like to have live rock cleaned off in.it mainly consists of clean up crew.there are 4 engineer gobies and a yellow watchman pistol shrimp pair as far as fish and i am going to add a wrasse of some sort at some point.any how there are a number of cleaners in here.electric blue hermits, red leg hermits, clibanarious blue legs, peppermint shrimps, coral banded shrimp, emerald crabs, cleaner shrimp, argus hermits, blue eyed hermits, and a nudibranch.i am hoping to get something to eradicate a black sponge for a friend and in the process of trial and error this tank was born.i am currently working on filling it with mushrooms and ricordea one by one.[img] [/img] underneath is a breeding facility,a hamster farm,or a rodent ranch.pay no atention to that.

| the stars are unusualy active in this tank and the dusters are open.no skimmer maybe?but everything is pretty clean minus the compartments that i isolate certain inverts for one reason or another.even easy capture.you can kinda see the engineers in the background along with a red open brain i am trouble shooting.[img] [/img] | |

| right now there is prolifera, serullata, chaedomorpha, and a little bit of feather caulerpa.it is actualy getting eaten but growing at a rate faster than it can be consumed .that and some of the creatures like some macros more than the next.no one eats the chaedomorpha.its still in the experimental stage and being a fan of biological filteration along with being a poor man in a rich hobby macro to soak up some nutrients seems fit even without a sump or refugium.

| I wonder if it possible if you could have enough macro and the right blend to replace protein skimmer. I heard different macros are better than others. | |

| chaedomorpha gets chewed on by hermits in my tank, but the damn stuff seems to always break down into bits in my tanks, but everything else flourishes... | |
