First collect many mushrooms...soon a shroom farm...

Recently BadXgillen dug up and is now letting me use his old mini coral farm. This little tank addition seems to be quite efficient and space conservative. The light is also removable with velcro. According to BadX, this cool tank addition can raise mad shrooms from cuttings. Supposes that means some of my shrooms are gonna get the razor soon...

Hmm...it appears to be a few of my shrooms have disappeared....my black melon and my blue spot....I wonder where they went...On the brighter side it appears that my Camo and Grey Blotched Mushrooms are beginning to spread across my tank and attach to new rock. However it is from my knowledge and personal experience that mushroom corals are quite sturdy and I am confident my melon shroom is hiding out somewhere..... 

Better find em and cut em up. Get some rubble in that AC and you shoulkd be good to go...Maybe put a screen of some sort to prevent mushrooms form escaping prematurely.

perhaps that might be the most advisable idea....I think I will definitely frag up some of my excessively big watermelon and and green mushrooms

It works great with kenya tree and ricordeas.

I recently added some mesh to this mini tank and added a few shrooms I plan to frag. I originally I Intended to use finer mesh, but the water began overflowing....oops....

I've been thinking about collecting recordia however due to my extremely limited room in my tanks I have been putting them off.

You could use egg crate if the smaller grade clogs up too fast.You can even put one ontop of the other layer as to make the openings smaller.

Hoping to frag some of these....once one of them decides to move to another rock....

Well I just fragged up one of my Camo and orange shrooms...here is a pic of them in the shroom farm....

I forgot to mention I also fragged one of my red rhodactus...I hope this one survives because I have noticed this shroom in particular seems to grow a lot slower than most of the shrooms I own.

If you are worried you can up the flow and add some carbon. That should prevent some infections and keep the excess slime coat down.

Actually all of the cuttings are alive and well, and none of the shrooms of which that were cut have melted away...on the other hand one of my shrooms which was not fragged melted away.....one day its alive and well, the next day *POOF*. It had now became a small pile of slime...stinky slime....and this mushroom just happened to be my blue spotted fuzzy....dang... 

I know for the most part mushrooms can touch each other but I do know that if one contracts a bacterial infection it can easily transfer to an adjacent polyp,especialy one that is more susceptible to negative conditions...Basically the nicer ones can be more sensitive.

Appears to be the camo shroom of mine has melted away...now I am left with the mini shrooms it has split into....

So does that mean you are finally going to throw one my way so I can bank it? I know you got that shroom factory working now.

Well are my latest creations crafted from the depths of the shroom farm! I took two squares and fastened some of my newly attached mushrooms. Resulting from this was a frag with two magenta shrooms and a frag with a nice Camo Shroom and another bonus shroom. The camo one is for you Badxgillen for letting me use your light and shroom farm!

As I said earlier that camo frag is reserved for you and I don't need anything in return since you are letting me use your shroom farm and light!

Alright...problem being the camo shroom detached from the frag square and I need to reattach it to the rock....
