| I'm getting ready to set up a 60G primarily for rainbows. I'm thinking boesmani, turquoise, and praecox. Any advice on whether I'm missing a really cool species?. Also, I'd appreciate any advice on other species that I could add in to make it a more healthy environment. Do I need a couple cories, plecos, etc...? Thanks! | |

| I love cory cats. Lasers, sterbis, aneus, paleatus, pygmy etc.. I also love roseline sharks, reticulated hillstream loaches, even otocinclus have their place. There is another kind of rainbow, i think its called australian, that looks like a spawning salmon. They are cool. I am soooo setting up somemore freshwater tanks! | |

| Thanks! I'll gladly give them a good home. Still have plenty of room. PM to figure out what you would like in trade. | |

| The fish in the pic are 4 turquoise, 2 boesmani, (and 2 corys, 1 albino bristlenose pleco not shown). I need to add a few more species. The crinum calamistratum (right in front of the rock) is struggling. I have lost several leaves. It could be too much light right there. Could also be shock from the transplantation. I'll keep you posted. I have some brazilian sword, amazon sword, lace java fern, cryptos, and jungle val. I'd really like to get some of that corkscrew jungle val and vesuvius sword. | |

| I have a feeling its transplant shock...they love high light..and are slow growing...they often drop all their leaves and regrow under new conditions...just make sure the bulb doesnt rot and it should last forever. | |
