pictures of my 16 gallon reef tank

some pictures of the 16 gallon tank I put the finishing touches on today. Fish and 2 pink skunk clowns and an orchid dottyback. I also have a porcelain crab, scarlet or fire shrimp and a red bubble tip anemone... I havent put much coral in yet... at this point just zoas. Might be cool to just get this thing covered in zoanthids

aww damn..everything in that tank is bomb.really good choice on tank mates for the tank.i so want a fire shrimp.and nice pair of skunks for that rose.some mushrooms would look prettyu nice in there until you decide on a coral.the aquascaping is pretty nice as well.the ledge on the left to the cave on the right.makes me want to tear down a tank and set another one up for asthetics.lately its been all functionality for me but your tank may be insparational.

if i inspired you to do something you just made my day you've helped me figure out so much so that's an honor I do love how this tank has turned out. This hobby is so much friggin fun

im envious as all get out, love the porcelain crab, mine is more purple/pinkish...

i didnt even know they came in a purplish color until bert told me... that sounds really nice. This guy is cool- he has to share the anemone with the clowns and somehow they make it all work

that anemone will grow and grow so there will be space in time.and you can get multiple porcelain crabs.i have one of each in the tank i keep my anemones.once your tank is nice and established you can stir a little of the sand bed and it gets em going..as well as the SPS.

yeah, i had emerald crabs before in there and they were too aggressive (they do differ in attitude with each you get), but i love my porcelain crab, he hasnt caused any problems yet.
