| That is one of the tiniest tridacnids I have seen, super cute. As you know these little guys can be a little sensitive but I am sure it is in good hands as of now. I would love to add to my clams but they are sooo spendy and not too many shops carry them do to the care requirements. Nice specimen you have there. | |

| It's like a coral jungle in there, so many types, I always have mine warring it out when I have them that close but your tank looks like it is in harmony. How unfortunate about the clam, But look at all that coral, the colors are looking good. Any secrets we should know about? | |

| Thank you Badxgillen! I just dose 2 part, magnesium and the product Fuel.As far as keeping the peace I have a few strategies.First I group together the corals that can touch, like the acans.I also use small rocks, shells and skeletons as fences.I also create living barriers between aggressive corals with zoa frags. Most of them seem somewhat tolerant of sweeper tentacles.Don't try this at home though with your most expensive varieties. | |

The tank is looking great. Thank you Tinsle! If you are talking about the blue spot,Tubbs Blue. They go good with everything. Also a Speckled Fire polyp above the lobo,Peter Pans(right),Mind Blowing Palys(center front) and GI Joes(left front). Finally for the curious the 2 polyp solo shot is a variety from Aqua AD,name unknown.

| Since when do you place orders and keep me out of the loop, for shame. Was it a covert thing? guess I will get to the back of the line, maybe I will grab some from some one at some point.Never heard of them.
and yes colors look good, whoever you got your lighting from did good and the cameras white balance is spot on.

| I put some in your sump months ago Bert, when I brought over the vivid frags..I picked these up at the same time I picked out Birthday zoas for you.The Peter Pans were not big enough to frag yet safely with wire cutters, and they used to have a tighter mat to them.I have the mother colony ready to frag up in my sump. You guys are welcome to it. | |

| " Most likely Larry Jackson's Tri Color Acro. This grows into a lovely fan shape which makes for interesting arrangements. This variety also tolerates low light light like a champ so you can place it below vertical types. [img] [/img] | |

| Man your tank and corals look amazing, that mandarin isn't too shabby either. Good to know about the tri color and low light, I am always scheming my tanks corals placements...Thats why I rarely glue anything to the rock work.
You have so much coral it looks like that stand pipe is the last frontier, encrusting psamacora maybe?

| Thank you kindly Badx, everything has progressed nicely through the years.I very much appreciate the mandarin too.As you can see my colonial polyps are doing much better since he was introduced. The sand pipe was the last frontier.I recently crowned it with my Tri Color Frog spawn and it is now complete.Updated photos coming soon.Encrusting psammocora yes! | |
