| had a powerhead cord crack and electrocuted pretty much everything in my tank. Killed all my favorite corals, my green brittle star lost all its legs last night, melted my mushrooms and sponges - which until now were doing great, has my fire fish swimming sideways and upside down haven't seen my damsel all day and have some stupid worm looking things coming out everywhere, saw 18 of them huddled up on bottom of tank tonight. WTF. So guess I am giving up until new tank is ready in a few months. I have some zoas and a few palys if anyone would like to bank them for me til i have a working system again | |

| I dont know what to say except sorry to hear about your misfortune and loss.if there is something i can do to help you should let me know.i have had a electricle current run through my tank before but not to the effect that you have experienced.makes me want to go and check my power cords in some of my older tanks, although i bet it can happen to any cord under the right"or wrong"conditions. | |

| I am sorry your loss. You may want to have someone with electrical experience check out the outlet in the wall.We had a few that looked just fine on the outside. However they were starting to melt on the inside. | |
