Fin Fungus? Empty
PostSubject: Fin Fungus?   Fin Fungus? EmptySun Feb 10, 2013 2:09 am

Any help identifying this disease would be appreciated. You can see it in both pictures as a white lump on the german blue ram's left pelvic fin. Ignore the other white spots in the top picture, just snail eggs.

Dale at AH suggested that I pull the fish out of water, debulk the area, treat directly with quick cure on a qtip, and then put him back and watch to see if it recurs. Just thought I'd ask for some help with identification in case I need to move to the next level of treatment.

I must apologize as I have not replied to this...it must have slipped my attention. So first off do you have a better pic?I have see external fish parasites that are the size and color of what you posted. In any case I always hate treating for something that I am not sure of in the first place. Is there anyway you can bring him in for an examination?
