| There has been a substantial break in the picture of the month contest so I presume many of you have accumulated a few good photos over that time. That's good because we have ourselves another POTM contest here. Don't worry if you haven't as we are also going to give a much longer submission period than usual, all of February, so plenty of days to find a beautiful or interesting picture. We also have prizes donated from a couple local businesses, good stuff. I might have to get a shot in myself this time around, my tank is not looking half bad right now. We look forward to seeing all the entries so show us what you got. | |

| Is that a green Montipora Stellata? Not the most common coral there, I have been wanting the tubbs variety for a while now but am not prepared to pay for it retail price. | |

| Not sure to be honest.I have a serious problem remembering scientific names.I have to hear and see them in print several times before they stick.Is the tubbs variety you speak of blue ? | |

| Alright alright , it is about time to close this POTM entree acceptance, I was hoping for a few more pictures in this months entry but the few we have are some pretty good photos.

| I see some pretty nice corals out there, lots of Coal Reef enthusiasts out there and that is good, I am a coral guy myself.Whoever wins this contest takes home the prize of some awesome zoanthids, these look great even without actinics on, very vibrant, and not invasive. Some one is going to get lucky. | |
