well its been some time and i have yet to see or hear the pistol shrimp so i am pretty sure he has been consumed by something in the tank.this sucks as i am not really sure as to who the culprit is.it may even be the gobies for all i know.frustrating.

Give it time. I love the watchman peeking in the first pic. Like he sees/smells it. Friend or lunch? Lol. I have had them show up months later. They just moved burrows around and take sometime to make an appearance

i hope so...i have another shrimp that is in limbo so to speak.i was thinking about tossing him in there with a turkey baster so i can target his arival.but if the first one is still in there then it will be a 50-50 chance of them fighting from my understanding as only pairs coexist peacfully.hmmmm
