New frags...

Decided to go out and get some frags at the Premium Aquariam....I settled on some Nightmare zoas and Alien Eye Zoas.They look Sweet! But the Nightmares are a bit spendy..40.00$ a small frag plug?!

It is Awsomeness .and they go well next to the blue zoas.i am sure when there are more of them you will be making your money back easy.i want some.

i need to fix my aiptasia problem and i have some algae problems in my frag tank, but for the most part the tank is doing rather well thanks to the light you rigged up for me...

keli just got a copper band butterfly so if he eats up the aptasia like he is supposed to i might be able to help you out.i was also thinking i could exchange you some rocks for your aptasia infested one and i could put them into one of my peppermint tanks until you thin you can keep some peppermints.

yeah, ive already killed 2 matted file fish, so im kind of paranoid...
honestly i think my best fix is to nuke the tank, and place the frags in a new one for a while, i dont wanna kill someone elses fish...

Well to date I have killed two copper bands.So I guess we are even.I never saw any of them eat aptasia.I think that Apatasia X and Kalkwasser Mix are the way to go.

i would agree keli, but i really want a functional bio control. i also want to try one of those majano wands or a high powered laser...

My Copperband has pretty much taken care of my aptasia issue. I love it!

thats what i was told each time i bought my matted file fish and i really like the look of them, but i dont care to kill another...

killed is such a terrible word.in your situation i would say that it just wasnt ment to be.you had no hand in incorrect husbandry skills so third times a charm...same goes for the copperband ,they are not the begginer fish to get just because they are not as hardy but because aclimation and adaptation are also part of the equation.if i recall the copperband and the file fish were pretty new arivals so basicaly i wouldnt feel to bad or at least not for very long.we still need an aptasia eater dont we?

I use a raccoon butterfly for my aiptasia control...but then again it is for a liverock system and I dont have to worry about them eating other things too...but that is OFTEN the case that the fish that DO eat aiptasia, nip at other things too, they are just not obligate specialists.
