I am a fan of a number of corals but so far it seems that the montipora variety has a never ending number of forms and colors.its plasticity is amazing in some cases.branching encrusting, plating and some that plain grow to the flow.i would love to collect some more of these interesting corals.
check out his one that is green with blue polyps.....pretty cool.

You do have some nice Montis. I particularly like the green with blue polyps, that's a nice color combo.

Did I ever give you a piece of my thin plate red? There's a small piece laying on the sand that I've been meaning to scoop up. The goby keeps covering it with sand and I keep blowing it off, repeat. I'm just too lazy to actually deal with it. Its a small piece, but this is the fastest growing Monti I've ever had or seen.

Holly Crap! That seasons greetings looks so nice in that picture, I hardly noticed it in person.Might need to cut that monti there and spread the genes a little, back it up.

Thanks Badx, this variety had me perplexed for a while. There is a Tyree seasons greetings, three seasons and a seasons greetings montipora. All of which may be the same coral. In addition there is a chilli pepper monti which looks very similar except that it is a encrusting coral. As you can see from the photo the seasons greetings encrust and plates.I hate to admit it,but it does need a trimming. This piece grew into a rock and would need to be fragged with a saw.

Here's your grape all grown-up:

And a macro shot of a green purple rim:
