| I have a couple of roach colonies that i keep around mainly as a free food source.i must admit that some times i also sit and watch them.another nocturnal invertebrate they become quite active at night and have a way of communicating with there antenae. [img] [/img] i flipped this guy on his back for a shot of his leg segments. | |

| nah man.these are by far a more tropical species that requires reasonably warm temperatures as well as lacking the ability to fly.these guys worry me little.they cant even climb very well but under the right conditions reproduce rather quikly.they eat up all the excess fruit and vegtable scraps. | |

| yeah, they also would be hard to stay out of view, as they are on the large size. | |

| i suppose i should say enviromental flexability.they seem to do better in the fluxuating temperature and humidity than the standard dubias.i have had this colony still produce during slightly colder and dryer times.or when i just forget about em for a while.wher the dubias kinda just dont produce as much when there is a change in he above mentioned perameteres.....and sometimes there are jumping jacks envolved after the flex. | |
