| Heres some random pics that I took of insects outside of my house... This one is an ant climbing on a platform of Azolla I made for him. [img] [/img] This pic I took while feeding some ants corn meal, which can be used to slim down thier population. [img] [/img] And a another pic of the ants checking out the corn meal. [img] [/img] A mosquito that fried its self on a ballast light.... [img] [/img] And finally an ant checking out some plant rubble [img] [/img] | |

| Why yes thats exactly what corn meal does. The workers bring some to the queen, killing her. Therefore shorting the population and keeping them out of your house | |

| I have found cornmeal is more effective than the liquid ant bait.Make sure to leave little piles(not just a few grains)were the ants have been seen.It helps to apply outdoors as well. The cornmeal needs replaced once it gets wet. | |

| i have tried what you are refering to and it is easier said than done.first off it is against most laws to import/order a queen and due to some invasive species laws.you may be able to aquire one by digging up an ant nest.this can be extremly tricky as they are rarely located at the surface and the odds of destroying the target are high.it is possible but not all that easy.now a termite colony or wasps would be a little easier as long as you can locate one of those colonies....just saying. | |
